The Teaphant: an Elephant Teapot

The new addition to the Trash Family comes all the way from India! They are Teaphant, the elephant-teapot, and Mahout: his rider, keeper and lifelong friend.

They are made out of a cute, small metallic teapot (10cm diameter) and various other added parts: a couple of 'flaps' from a vegetable steamer basket for the ears, four vintage metallic drawer knobs for the legs and a wooden one for the rider, old and new screws, washers, nuts, a metallic hook for the tail and red waxed cotton thread for the handle.
The approximate measures are 15cm long (with the nose) and 16cm high (handle up). We can see every angle of both the Teaphant and his friend in these series of pictures:



And some pictures of close-ups: the Teaphant's eyes made with red flat washers, old nuts and small black glass beads, his screw-fangs and the inox flappers; the wrapped handle, and silent but faithful friend with his piercing black eyes made out of tiny nails.
